Woman of the Maasai tribe, also called Masai, wear bracelets and various forms of beaded ornaments in stretched earlobes (earrings); on smaller piercings at the top of the ear; around the neck (necklet ruff) and on the head (headdress).
Maasai are an indigenous African ethnic group of semi-nomadic people located in Kenya and northern Tanzania.
The making of … I asked my girlfriend to have a “conversation” with this Maasai woman … this way I could make an unposed photograph. My girlfriends reaction “How should I do that” … my reaction “Use your hands and feet”.
