The Hornbill festival is a yearly feature in the first week of december. The festival is held at Naga Heritage Village Kisama, 12 km from Kohima.

Chang is one of the main tribes in Tuensang District of Nagaland. Changs observe six major festivals in a year; out of which Naknyulum Festival, which falls on the 2nd week of July is of much importance.
